Ghost-Trax uses your account email, uploaded recording, artist and title, generated lyrics, edits, and optional images to provide your karaoke track.
Where processing happens
The website, account records, job status, and stored files use Cloudflare. Modal processes audio and renders files. Stripe handles payment details when checkout is enabled. A verification email provider delivers account messages.
Your lyric-source choice
If you choose online lyrics, the song’s artist and title are sent to LRCLIB to find matching words. If you choose audio transcription, that lookup is skipped and the words are transcribed from your recording.
Retention
Uploaded and generated files, artwork, and saved lyric edits are deleted after 7 days, or 24 hours after the first ZIP download, whichever is sooner. Account, payment, and basic job-history records remain for service operation. Processing uses temporary files on Modal; model weights are cached separately.
Browser storage
An essential session cookie keeps you signed in. Unsaved lyric edits may be stored locally in your browser so you can recover them after a refresh. They are removed from local draft storage after a successful save. This site does not add advertising trackers.
